About Us

Arivu offers video lessons, interactive exercises in the native/vernacular languages. Arivu's effort is to enable rural children to have access quality learning material, delivered through technology. This helps bridge the gap in learning (Urban vs Rural) spanning elementary, middle school and high school curricula.
Arivu's course content will be a series of bite-sized video based learning modules (typically 10-15 minutes each) interspersed with assessments and quizzes. Arivu believes that such smaller lessons are easy to assimilate and the assessments will challenge and help instil a sense of accomplishment among young learners.

The technology platform's main differentiator will be a localized platform for specific languages and to engage with all the stakeholders (Corporates, NGOs, Volunteers, Government, Teachers, Students and Subject Matter Experts) on our platform to get the best content developed and distributed to the remotest of places cost effectively. The platform and the backing company will also be transparent and open on all aspects from funding, delivery etc.

Instead of looking at "replacing" the current teachers, Arivu aims at enabling and supplementing the teachers/volunteers with relevant additional content and technology. Arivu is currently doing this in collaboration with some NGOs to ensure a smooth delivery and wider reach to the needy children.
